Pregnancy Support
Physio Waves have teamed up with Melissa Jenkins, who is a Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with advanced training in musculoskeletal and pelvic health rehabilitation.
She specialises in pregnancy and postnatal recovery and Women’s Health Physiotherapy, she is also an Education Content Contributor for The Mummy MOT.
Aquatic exercise during pregnancy is aimed at using buoyancy to reduce stress on joints, using the water for gentle resistance to support strengthening and cardiovascular fitness. The water also provides brilliant support for relaxation.
